saw this in Indiepocalypse, really liked it! Great art and vibes and the writing was really good. I thought maybe it was just gonna be a horror game of how depressing life can be haha, but I liked the ending a lot too. Looking forward to checking out your other games!
That was fun, with an unexpected ending. Glad that you got to submit an entry despite testing positive for COVID.
Quick bug report: the game cannot be completed when being played full-screen at a 16x10 resolution (I use 1680x1050) because the poster is not visible then. I was stuck for the longest time until I saw on your screenshot that there is a poster. I had to switch to windowed mode and force the resolution to 1600x900 to be able to view it.
Hi Steven! I'm looking into this issue, and wanted to ask: Is the 16x10 resolution you used one of the options presented in the game's settings menu? Or was that resolution set outside of the game? On my PC, the only options in-game are 16:9. This game is meant to be played at a 16:9 resolution, so if there is a 16x10 option in the game's settings menu for you, that's gotta go. Thanks!
It's not in the settings, no. My monitor is at its native resolution of 1680x1050 (which is 16:10), so it ran full-screen at that resolution. I think it occurs only when no configuration data has been saved yet, because now when I try it, it defaults to windowed mode and 1600x900.
Ahh, okay - that makes sense. It's definitely a problem that fullscreen doesn't automatically default to a 16:9 resolution - I'll take this route when trying to fix this issue. Thanks for the help, it's much appreciated!
That was a fun experience. The end was a bit creepy, but it felt a bit lacking. Huge respect to the developer for making a whole game in two weeks considering the time I think its satisfactory. The theme of the game and the art style got my heart anyhow ^<
Thats a fair critique. Certainly 2 weeks is a tough constraint to work under. Every game I make I learn something new about storytelling and working in short time frames, though. So that muscle will get stronger with time! Thanks for playing.
Thank you very much for playing! I appreciate your feedback. You make a very fair point about the dialogue moving too quickly. I apologize for not thinking more about the experience of non-English speakers when making the game. That is on me, and I will take your advice to heart when making future games!
Really nice point and click game, I am not gonna spoil anything here but it has a great ending, definitely recommend it.
The fact that it is spooky in a more existential way and less in a generic way adds a lot to the experience, the puzzles are nice, not too easy, not too hard; a short but enjoyable experience.
Thank you for your thoughtful commentary and for posting your playthrough! I appreciate your critiques as well - very well put and I agree. I'm really glad you enjoyed this little game nonetheless!

Why does the game not working
Hi there! Could you elaborate on what wasn't working?
Would love to see this get more parts or inspire a bigger version of the game.

Wow :-) short but really nice (I like your idea - and you did a good job with the overall atmosphere) - congratulations :-)
